Description
Summary. Specific weight is determined by major components of packing efficiency and grain density. Both grain dimensions and density must be considered to optimise specific weight. Specific weight sub-components (grain composition) are associated with changes in grain density within bulks. Compositional changes (i.e. N% and B granules) describe ~50% of the variation in grain density.
