I co-founded the Young ES Specialists (YESS) network while working on the ODEMM project. YESS is officially affiliated with the Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP), has a delegation to IPBES, and is currently being run by executive team that is fully independent of the co-founders. In other words, it is alive and well as a network. It has in excess of 900 members (as of May 2023).
