    DescriptionLow atmospheric pressure system (LAPS) stunning has the potential to improve welfare of poultry at slaughter by eliminating the stress associated with live bird shackling. LAPS is an irreversible method which has been tested for some years and is currently in operation under commercial conditions. The results seem promising.
