Selective breeding could be used to weatherproof sheep and goats against climate change.

Researchers at Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) have been looking at ways to produce livestock to cope with wetter, milder conditions in Scotland.

The study looked at records of how individual animals coped with changes in climate, alongside average daily temperatures and humidity. Some animals were more resilient than others.
