I'm in the second year of my PhD with the University of Edinburgh & SRUC, researching using bioacoustics to survey bats and birds in agroforestry landscapes in Scotland.

The main aim of my research is to identify how growing trees in livestock pastures (wood pastures) can enhance habitats for biodiversity and to improve bioacoustic methods when comparing different habitats. I am also studying how farmers percieve trees on farms in Scotland, and how grants can support farmers to plant wood pastures.

Follow me on twitter to check out my work, illustrated through the beautiful farm trees I encounter along the way @bethbridge6
