Biography

Fissha Asmare is a research fellow at Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC). His research broadly focuses on behavioural environmental economics and agricultural economics. He explores the impact of climate change, climate change adaptation and various policy changes on production and environmental efficiency. By exploiting experimental and survey methods he also delves into the application of behavioural economics principles in resource use efficiency (E.g., energy & water) analysis and sustainable agricultural technology adoption behaviour in the agriculture sector.
