Kate Stephen, a Behavioural Scientist at the Epidemiology Research Unit is an experienced social scientist and project manager. She has experience in qualitative data collection methods, participatory and peer research, community development, and co-production. At SRUC she has focussed on farmer behaviour and farmer perspectives on AMU & AMR, biosecurity, and mental health and wellbeing of farmers, crofters and veterinary surgeons in large animal practice. She is an experienced research interviewer and collaborator in multi-disciplinary teams, a member of the SRUC Social Science Ethics Committee and a Mental Health First Aider.
