Teaching
I joined SRUC as a lecturer in Animal Science in 2013 whilst completing my PhD examining the energetic budgets of broiler chickens at Aberdeen University. Since then I have taught a range of subjects (from 1st year Chemistry to Msc Statistics) but my key subject areas predominately involve statistics, physiology and nutrition.
I am the EIS union represetative on the Non-Executive board, and secretary for the S&W region.
I was heavily involved in the writing and validation of the Bsc(Hons) Sustainable Food Produciton and Land Management.
