Personal profile
Working in forestry for twenty year and have a background in forest research. Currently based at Barony Campus teaching Forestry teaching forest ecology and GIS. Specialist interests are in digital innovation and technology, and traditional forestry practices. Previously ran a horse logger business in North Scotland focusing on low impact timber extraction, before moving SE Asia to work in sustainable development and community-based forest management. This included working of mangrove reforestation and restoration, and sustainable ecotourism.
