Research interests

My research interests lie in the application of data science, machine learning, and computer vision to the analysis and interpretation of animal health data. Through this work, I aim to support improved surveillance, decision-making, and disease management in animal health. My current specific interests include:

  • Antimicrobial resistance

Biography

I have a Ph.D. in Computing Science, with a thesis titled "Innovative Signal Processing and Data Mining Techniques for Aquatic Animal Health." This project was conducted through a joint-funded studentship with the University of Stirling and SRUC. Prior to this, I graduated with a 1st class B.Sc.(Hons.) in Software Engineering from the University of Stirling in 2019.
