Research interests

The analysis of land management effects on soil carbon and nitrogen stocks and fluxes through the assessment of nutrient dynamics, greenhouse gas emissions and leached nutrients from agricultural soils.  My work includes identifying soil parameters that are driving biogeochemical processes contributing to soil quality, GHG mitigation, UK net-zero targets and reporting under the IPCC UK inventory.
