Capacity building in animal welfare in Asia

Support for a JMICAWE (R(D)SVS) to develop animal welfare capacity in veterinary schools and animal science departments in Universities in Asia (in particular in China, the Philippines, Japan, and India). This involves short visits to specific institutions to deliver training to faculty and postgrad students and support with the development of training materials (specialist feedback on species welfare), with a focus on pigs and poultry expertise.
