Delivering a UK Biodiversity Methodology for Woodlands and Peatland

Collaborative project with IUCN. The goal is to further test and deliver a viable biodiversity methodology for Peatland and Woodland in Scotland. The WCC/PC have set high integrity standards and have made significant progress in understanding the emerging biodiversity market. There is a strong interest in quantifying biodiversity and the metrics which have been developed for these habitats is viable. Additional pilot testing at a series of demonstrator sites is necessary to ensure the methodology remains robust, user-friendly and maintains the high integrity standards set by WCC/PC.
