Pasture-associated laminitis: Digesting the dilemma

Project Details

Description

Pasture-associated laminitis is a complex and painful condition which manifests in the hooves of the horse. Laminitis is not only devastating for animals which develop it, but its management can be a laborious and draining experience for owners. This PhD project was funded by REF and the Waltham Petcare Science Institute in order to explore aspects of laminitis in a population of native ponies at risk.
