Project Details
Description
Pneumonitor develops in-pen environmental sensors that help dairy farms prevent disease by understanding the real conditions animals experience, to support earlier intervention and reduce reliance on antibiotics. This project explores a new use case: monitoring bedding conditions linked to environmental mastitis and adapting the device for use around adult cows. This project tests the effectiveness of measuring conditions at bedding, and determine what design changes improve durability and accuracy. The goal is to extend the platform’s impact beyond calves and support healthier, more resilient dairy herds.
