Description

The aim of the project is to establish a research consortium between France, the United Kingdom, and Trakia University as coordinating participant to help Bulgarian researchers and stakeholders to strengthen their research and innovation capacity in sustainable agro-ecological herbivore productivity and meat quality. A nation-wide study for a smart specialisation strategy in Bulgaria identified food production, and the related farming-industry and research as the most active economic sector in the category of manufacturing. INRA and SRUC are recognized leading institutions in food production research. They have a strong track record in multidisciplinary and international collaborations, and they are active members of a network of academia, industry, public interest groups, and policy makers.
