UK cattle abattoir AMR survey - PATH-SAFE/VMD

In 2023, to design, co-ordinate, run, analyse, report on a UK wide survey of healthy cattle at slaughter houses, including the acquisition and processing of faecal samples to obtain a specified number of bacterial isolates for each of a specified bacterial species and test said isolates for AMR, in accordance with the EU harmonised methods for AMR surveys, in conjunction with Government partners, to supply the AMR results, data and archive, hold and provide the isolates/DNA extracts for WGS, as requested for the UK PATH-SAFE initiative.
