Understanding metrics for effective environmental measures under the Agricultural Reform Programme for Scotland

This project has two key objectives:
1.To conduct a comprehensive review of the evidence for data and metrics that have potential to monitor the success of the proposed outcomes and associated measures
2.To recommend a set of data requirements that will generate a baseline metric(s) that can be regularly monitored for the Future Payment for Farmers (it is expected that the monitoring will be in the form of activity-based and outcome-based verification, which justifies payment).
