Abstract

Drainage water was examined to determine the concentrations of bacteria and chemical pollutants. The effectiveness of partial aerobic treatment of the slurry prior to land treatment was evaluated in a preliminary experiment, using a surface aerator on the existing slurry tank. An aeration system based on the result of this experiment and design data obtained from laboratory studies has been installed. Map, diagram, graphs, and tables illustrate study.
