With the Scottish Government committed to alignment with the EU's Common Agricultural Policy where practicably possible this concept considers how Scotland could adopt a mandatory component of the EU's 2023 CAP - redistributive support (front loading) on the first 'X' hectares. This novel approach uses a single payment uplift for all regions in Scotland based on the 25th percentile support area claimed
