Abstract
A short opinion piece for June 2023 edition of Farm North East (editor Eddie Gillanders). As the journal is print only we have permission to publish the article electronically. The article looks at Just Transition in the context of agricultural policy reform - explaining the role of the independent Just Transition Commission, the drivers of policy change and the formulation of the Scottish Government's Just Transition Plan for Agriculture and Land Use.
